Georges Hall, Lake Gillawarna

Lake Gillawarna sits in the Mirambeena Regional Park, in the southwestern suburb of Georges Hall. It's a popular spot for Australian White Ibis.

What a wonderful place! Are those ibis? We don't have them here, but I have never seen so many together.

Yes, JM, they are ibis. I'd never seen so many of them in the one place either. It seems like this is their favourite gathering spot at dusk.

Lovely shot, the trees fresh and green. Here the leaves are getting crisp and brow, burned by summer heat and ready to fall.
