Sydney Park, in the inner city suburb of Alexandria, is a former brickworks that has been transformed into 44 hectares of parkland. There have been a number of ponds and wetlands (left) recreated as they once were in this area, which attract many water birds and animals. The storm water retention pond, with a weir (right), stores rainwater for the connected wetland areas in the park.

Nice diferent reflections from one park!
Thank you for sharing some more very interesting and lovely scenes from your world.
I always love it when cities make a beautiful park out of a utilitarian area. We have visited several such areas for the lovely water and terrific birdwatching it brings.

You do have some wonderful parks down in Sydney we need to visit and explore next time we're down. Have a great weekend, Jim.

Great reflections. It always heartens me when I hear that parklands are being made istead of using it for high density living.
That's a nice one!
Nice contribution to the meme.
