Sylvania, jetty

Seagulls bask in the sunshine on this private jetty on the Georges River, viewed from the beach near Holts Point Place in the southern suburb of Sylvania. A paddleboarder makes his way across the river and in the distance is Captain Cook Bridge, which connects Sans Souci to Taren Point.

  1. What a serene and sunlit scene—seagulls, a lone paddleboarder, and the distant span of Captain Cook Bridge all painting a peaceful snapshot of life along the Georges River

  4. Great photos and post! I love revolving building tops, we had one here in Milwaukee but they don't "turn it on" anymore. If I ever get to Australia, I hope to go up there!
