The McAuley Centre is located along Thomas Street, in the inner city suburb of Lewisham. It serves as the administrative offices for the Sisters of Mercy (Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea). The Sisters of Mercy work alongside people facing disadvantage, supporting education, health and sustainable livelihoods so individuals, families and communities can build lives of dignity, independence and hope. The nondescript building was recently renovated with this brown cladding and the Sisters of Mercy logo altering the facade.
