These sea planes are at the Rose Bay Water Airport, in the eastern suburb of Rose Bay. Sydney Seaplanes is Australia's largest seaplane operator with flights over Sydney Harbour and a number of destinations like Palm Beach, Whale Beach, Cottage Point, Berowra Waters, Pittwater and the Hawkesbury River. This photo was taken fifteen years ago so this terminal has been upgraded since then.

ReplyDeleteWe did that for my husband's 40th. I hate flying so it was a stress for me but the best present for him so I had to suck it up. We had a baby in a capsule so that was a whole drama with weights required and a terrifying moment (in my head) of handing the capsule over the water and into the plane...but it all went well and we had a sensational lunch and felt like millionaires (we got a discount with the Entertainment books but still....) #Allseasons
