Port Botany, Sydney Ports Corporation
The Sydney Ports Corporation is located in the eastern suburb of Port Botany, on the shore of Botany Bay. The facilities at Port Botany consist of two container terminals with six container vessel berths and a bulk liquids berth complemented by container support businesses, bulk liquid berth storage facilities and private berths at Kurnell.

ReplyDeleteFrancesca, it sure is a different place today from the bay that Captain Cook explored in 1770, later named Botany for the quantity of new plants discovered there.
ReplyDeleteRight, of course, Jim, now it makes sense. Maybe it should now be renamed Port Kills Botany... LOL! (Excuse the typo in my earlier post; the U should be I, of course.)
ReplyDeleteNo worries, Francisca. A lot of industry has moved into the bay that was previously located closer to the city, around Sydney Harbour.

ReplyDeleteGreat signage you have got there that can be noticed so easily by customers and potential clients. It is a nice background of the storage units standing on top of one another being stacked so securely. All the cranes seen there give clients a sense of security and I can see that Port Botany is a definite success!
