Kensington, University of New South Wales, Uniwalk

The University of New South Wales is the second biggest university in Sydney. Uniwalk is located at the entrance of the university on Anzac Parade, in the eastern suburb of Kensington.

  1. It's certainly been tidied up since I was there in the 80s. That broad pathway was two separate paths with hedges down the centre, and the law building (? the one one left) didn't exist.

  2. diane b, it's my usual trick. It was a weekend and I waited around until there were not many students around. :) You need to be very patient but I prefer to photograph most places without people around.

  4. Attractive looking walk. I like the mix of evergreens and deciduous trees on the lawns on either side, and the buildings set back.

  6. Ah yes. Nice perspective, all right! Memories. I used to take my first grandson in the pram for walks there when they lived in Randwick.

    Maybe you saw my daughter on campus? She started teaching at UNSW (her alma mater) a few weeks ago. :)
