Huntley Point, ferry wharf

The clouds rolled in to threaten the perfectly sunny day in the suburb of Huntleys Point, viewed from the inner west suburb of Chiswick. The Huntleys Point ferry wharf is located on the northern side of the Parramatta River, close to Gladesville Bridge and can be seen here. The Chiswick ferry wharf that I featured yesterday can be seen in the distance, on the opposite site of the the river.

  1. We are opposites sides of the globe but threatening clouds seem to be after both of us. Always surprised at how much greenery there is just outside the city.

  4. The light in the two images is so totally different. I love the harbour and all its little nooks and crannies.

  5. You've shot some great clouds in your first picture. I can almost see them sail gently through the sky.

  6. Clouds are far more interesting than a clear blue sky.

  16. Yes Mike, our early settlers looked to England for a lot of our place names. Along the Parramatta River we also have suburbs called Putney and Greenwich, which should sound familiar to you.
