Banksmeadow, Botany Bay Hotel

The Botany Bay Hotel at Banksmeadow is one of the oldest pubs in the eastern suburbs, built in 1865.

  11. Hels, yes I think it would have been a veranda or balcony originally. There's an old photo on the pub's website that shows a different enclosure before the most recent renovations to the facade.
