Pyrmont Bridge, lamp

Looking up at the streaks of clouds in an otherwise blue sky, the lamp on the western pylon of Pyrmont Bridge seems to dwarf the giant flag pole in Cockle Bay and Sydney Tower in the distance, from this angle.

  3. A great image. The lamp looks a bit out of proportions with the massive base, but it is original in shape.

  25. Kay, it's not a gas lamp now bit it may have been originally. A lot of the magnificent gas lamps that were retained around the city were converted to electricity.
