Bondi, Sculpture by the Sea

Such Sweet Thunder by Richard Heinrich, USA
Sculpture by the Sea is an annual exhibition which is located on the coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama. This sculpture was located at a fork in the walkway at Bondi, with a terrific backdrop of the Pacific Ocean under light wisps of clouds in the sky.

  1. Sydney has more spectacular beaches and more picturesque mountains, but there is something very special about Bondi. I love it.

  6. There were some pretty cool sculptures there. I like the ones with curving lines. I had to laugh about the one that looked like a tube with something squirting out.

The blues of the ocean and sky in this photo are so pretty together.

  7. Maybe a bit out of context, yet it reminded me of Don Quichote; a favourite role model of mine.

    Please have a good Friday.

  8. Is there a more famous beach in Oz than Bondi beach? We watch your TV surf program very often.

  12. Beautiful photo of a gorgeous stretch of coastline! And I like the sculpture, although I have no idea what it represents, if anything.
