This view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Barangaroo was from Pirrama Park at Pyrmont on New Year's Eve, just before the midnight fireworks. The big 'X' on the bridge was part of this year's theme which was 'Make Your Mark' for 'NYE X' or New Year's Eve 2010.

Great night shot of the bridge! Barabgaroo certainly is bright at night.
ReplyDeleteLew, I think they left all those lights on at Barangaroo, especially for New Year's Eve.

ReplyDeleteMMX was a great year!
ReplyDeleteMy friend from Sydney says you have the best fire works in the world. I must say Yes, I remember last year, I was on the Gold Coast, there were so much fireworks that I got quite bored with it.
ReplyDeleteWhere were you ?
Ann, the fireworks on Sydney Harbour get bigger and better every year. This year I was watching them from behind the bridge at Pyrmont but last year I was right in front of the bridge at Kirribilli, where it was quite spectacular. You can go back and see my posts from last year.
ReplyDeleteTerrific, Jim.
ReplyDeleteExcellent!
ReplyDeleteI once took a trip to AUS and arrived on Jan 2nd. Had I only known then about the fireworks, I might have spent the extra money and gotten there a bit earlier!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY NEW YEAR!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year 2011 and greetings from Argentina :)
