  1. It looks wonderful from all angles and in all weather. I like your use of the railing to frame the view.

  3. I think this is one of the few times I've seen gray, grumpy, but gorgeous skies in your always wonderful captures of the harbor! Fantastic! Hope you have a great weekend, Jim!

  4. It's good to see a bit of swell on the harbour - most photos show it on calm sparkly days.

  6. Bit of stormy weather at the moment, I am led to believe. Some of this wrought iron fencing is original. Hard to tell which bit. A firm near Sydney Park in Alexandria wroughts it for them.

  7. Julie, we've had a lot of stormy and overcast weather in the past month. They say we just had the wettest March on record.

  11. The water looks a little rough in your photo. Actually, so does the sky!

    STORYTELLER

    The sky, whether deep blue or grey,
    Has stories to tell every day;
    So if the day’s clear,
    Be sure to draw near—
    The heavens know just what to say!

  15. I love the composition here - the opera house interestingly does not dominate the harbor the way
    it usually does when photographed!
