Government House, sundial

This sundial beside the driveway is dwarfed by these trees in the grounds of Government House, in the Royal Botanic Gardens.

  1. I don't really think the sundial is dwarfed, but what a spectacular tree.

  8. That is an incredible tree. It must be ancient, as well as beautiful.

  9. Wren, quite true. There are a lot of trees in the Botanic Gardens that are over 100 years old. :)

  13. Kaori, I'm not sure what sort of tree it is but I don't see monkey pod tree on the list of trees here. It really is a great place to take a walk.

  14. The sundial looks like it's part of the tree - its trunk, in fact. Not sure if you intended that, but I like the effect!

  15. Alan, I framed it so the sundial was in the centre, rather than it replacing the trunk. :)
