I wonder how many frogs live in that pond... have you ever seen one in there?... Do you get cane toads in ponds? I heard they're a massive probem in Aus; that gangs of men go out hunting them with sticks... is that true..??
I have 6 cousins in Australia btw so I'd love to go. I'd also love to go to Finland like Orvokki said. Lakes and pine trees... wow!
Gledwood, I haven't seen frogs but I have seen eels in the pond. Cane toads which are an introduced species are a huge problem in Queensland and are spreading to other northern parts of Australia and slowly headng south. It is true people hunt them down to eradicate them. A few have been found in Sydney, suspected of hitching a ride on boats, but they're not in huge numbers yet.
It is so different than the landscape of my country, Finland. Looks beautiful. You are able to describe nicely.
