Mosman, shops

These shops are located along Military Road, in the lower north shore suburb of Mosman. It has been declared a conservation area for this early twentieth century shopping strip. The shop and residence on the corner with the turret is an example of the Federation Queen Anne architectural style.

  1. What a lovely neighborhood. It's good that such places are preserved. So often they are allowed to decay, then are torn down.

  13. I love this building. I love visiting areas that have been preserved. Old buildings are so much more interesting to me than the new ones, although some of them are quite impressive. Have a lovely week.
