Cronulla, Elouera Surf Life Saving Club

This Elouera Surf Club is located at Elouera Beach, one of the patrolled beaches, in the southern suburb of Cronulla. Elouera is an Aboriginal word meaning 'fine view' or 'beautiful place'. The surf club at this beach was first established in a tent in 1967 but this club house opened in 2007. It provides great views over Bate Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

  1. I have never been to a surf club (not having many surfers here!) but his looks like a nice place to be a member of.

  4. I love the idea that it started in a tent. I think it would probably be a nice club to belong to. It certainly is in a nice location. genie

  12. It's obvious they've done very well to graduate from humble beginnings in a tent to this beautiful building.

Lovely scene. I almost feel the need to slather on my sunscreen! ;-)
