Tamarama, Sculpture By The Sea

Casting Around byRuth Downes and Geoff Webster
Clytie by Sandy Blim
Spinal Column by Michael Purdy
Reclining Figures by Linda Bowden
The 16th annual Sculpture by the Sea exhibition ran from the 18th October until 4th November 2012 along the two kilometre coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama. These sculptures were on either side of the beach at Tamarama, with the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop, or at Tamarama Park, which is behind the beach.

  1. These are all very interesting. I wonder if the first one, casting, sings when the wind blows through.

  5. For some reason the sculpture called "Clytie" reminds of the TV series "Lost". It looks as if it has been battered around in the sea and temporarily washed up on the shore.
