Glebe, viaduct

This viaduct cuts through the middle of Wentworth Park, in inner west suburb of Glebe. It was built in 1922 to carry the freight railway line between Darling Harbour and Rozelle Goods Yards. It now carries the Metro Light Rail line, a tram between Central railway station and Lilyfield. Sydney Tower and the MLC Centre can be seen in the distance.

    love the arches! we have a Glebe road right around the corner from me, and The Glebe, which is a nursing home :)
