Walsh Bay, The Promenade, Vivid Festival, Moths to a Flame

"Moths to a Flame" was an art installation that hung from the lamps along The Promenade at Walsh Bay, as part of the Vivid Sydney Festival. The sculptures of net and gold moths were created by Ruth McDermott and Ben Baxter. The colourful illuminations on the Sydney Harbour Bridge can just be seen behind a warehouse building on one of the wharves.

  2. The photos of the Opera House are stunning. I suspect it is very difficult to get a spot to view and take those photos. It must be crowded.

  4. The nighttime shadows of the art are wonderful, soft enough to allow the light to shine. The harbour bridge is great - the Sydney icon that the entire world recognizes and admires!
