Barangaroo, ferry

This Rivercat Class ferry is making its way past the former Sydney Ports Harbour Control Tower in the inner city suburb of Barangaroo. The ferry was acquired in 1992 and named after Betty Cuthbert, an Australian athlete and Olympic gold medallist. The port facilities moved to Port Botany years ago and this part of the Barangaroo foreshore is currently being redeveloped into parkland. The Sydney Harbour Bridge can be seen in the distance.

    1. It's the old port control tower. They didn't tear it down after the port moved out and I guess they may find another use for it in future.

  4. An unusual view of the grand arched lady. And the Rivercat is a rather sleek swimmer.
