St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church is located on the corner of Dalhousie Street and Deakin Avenue, in the inner west suburb of Haberfield. The original St church was built in nearby Ramsay Street in 1909. It was believed to be the first church in the world to be named after St Joan of Arc, following her beatification and canonisation. This blonde brick building was completed in 1955.

ReplyDeleteGiven the style of the building, before reading your text, «Louis» guessed that the building was from the mid-1950s!
