These commercial buildings are located on the corner of King Street and Queen Street, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. The heritage listed "J Palmer Buildings" were built in 1896 in the Victorian Filigree architectural style .
That is a fantastic building, perfect for the end of the Victorian era of success and growth. I would have guessed it was a pub but the iron work is way too ornate and the veranda is too elegant.
