A view of Campbells Cove at The Rocks, below the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The replica of a square-rigged colonial sailing ship mast adorns the outdoor dining area of the Waterfront Restaurant housed in the former Campbell's Stores built in 1839. This will be one of the best positions to watch the world's biggest New Year's Eve fireworks displays and celebrations on Sydney Harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Great view of the bridge
ReplyDeleteAn awesome bridge and what a great place to watch the fireworks!! Terrific capture as always, Jim! Wishing you a very Happy New Year!! Enjoy!

Fascinating place ~ Happy New Year ~ carol
ReplyDeleteI'll bet it will be buzzing around here tonight Jim. Will you be attending camera in hand?
ReplyDeleteI might be around the harbour somewhere but not at this location which will be overly crowded.
DeleteI would love to be watching the fireworks from there. I imagine it would be quite costly though.
ReplyDeleteThere would be no charge to watch from anywhere around the harbour but some organised events and restaurants can be very pricey on New Year's Eve.
DeleteAnd every firework is on tv. Great location for a big display!
DeleteHappy New Year. Thank you for all the lovely photos you shared this year.
ReplyDeleteThe bridge is so pretty against that blue sky. What a fun place that would be to see the new year in! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYes! Up on one of those masts would give one a fine view of the fireworks. «Louis» is always able to see the San Francisco show from his balcony.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year Jin. Hope you get a good view of the fireworks.
ReplyDeleteClassic Sydney view.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice view!

«Louis» was in hopes that you would link this to Sunday Bridges. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt stays an impressive sight. I like it.
ReplyDeletewhat a great shot, I've been over that bridge a time or two. It is also similar to a bridge and harbour in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. :-)
ReplyDeletethis is a very nice view.
