Darling Harbour, mosaic

This mosaic is located on the walkway between the Sydney Exhibition Centre and the Chinese Garden of Friendship at Darling Harbour. The mosaic features the emblem of New South Wales and was created for the state's bicentenary in 1988 when the Darling Harbour was redeveloped. The Exhibition Centre has recently been demolished as part of another major redevelopment so I don't know if this mosaic will survive.

  1. Nice mosaic. It is interesting that the building it is commemorating has been torn down.

  3. Hi Jim,

Oh, I do hope it survives; especially since it's trimmed in navy blue. Thanks for sharing today.
