Darling Island, walkway

This walkway is located long the shore of Darling Island, in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont. Darling Island was levelled and joined to the mainland with hewn rock in the late 1840s. It became home to shipbuilding yards of the Australian Steam Navigation Company and redeveloped in the 2000s with apartment  buildings that have spectacular views of Sydney Harbour. Barangaroo and the Harbour Control Tower can be seen in the distance.

  7. I had no idea this area existed. I imagine these apartments so close to the harbour would be rather pricey. A simple but appealing design.
