Drummoyne, house

'Takapunna' is a house on the corner of Park Avenue and Renwick Street, in the inner west suburb of Drummoyne. This heritage listed freestanding terrace house was built around 1890, in the Victorian Filigree architectural style.

  2. This is my all-time favourite Sydney architecture - late Victorian, terraced, sandstone and lots of lacework.

    1. The first estate in this area was called Drummoyne Park after the owner's family home at Drummoyne on Clyde in Scotland.
