Camperdown, University of Sydney, John Woolley Building

The John Woolley Building is located along Science Road on the University of Sydney campus, in the inner city suburb of Camperdown. This heritage listed building was designed by Walter Liberty Vernon and built in 1908 in the Federation Arts and Crafts architectural style. Its design was altered by Professor Leslie Wilkinson in 1921 and a southern addition was built in 1940. It now houses a post office and is part of the School of Letters, Art and Media in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

  4. I wonder if all the buildings you photograph for our meme must meet the 100 year old minimum criteria? Anyway, this one is certainly interesting and full of character-love the rounded part of it.
