Tamarama, Sculpture by the Sea

Sculpture by the Sea was the outdoor sculpture exhibition which ran from 23 October to 9 November 2014, along the two kilometre coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama. "Wind Stone - The Threshold of Consciousness" is a sculpture created by Koichi Ishino. It was located along the cliffs, looking out to the Pacific Ocean, in the eastern suburb of Tamarama.

  5. Wind Stone is very dramatic. But I wonder why the artist chose a polished metal and not, for example, a rock that might be found on local beaches.

    1. Hels, the artist works with polished metal and polished stone for their reflective qualities and I guess granite works better than sandstone would.
