Botanic Gardens, Lotus Pond

The Lotus Pond is linked to the Main Pond in the Royal Botanic Gardens. The pond is almost completely covered in lotus or water lilies in spring, which will now bloom over summer. The fountain in the middle and the lamp to the right side are almost lost amongst the plants. The pond looks very different in autumn and winter.

  1. What an unusual find, Jim. I'd love to see these in bloom, so you need to go back and get a picture one more time! Happy New Year!

  3. Daar Jim, the Lotus is my favorite flower! I saw one in Spain a long time ago. But it is to cold in Holland to grow them. Groetjes, Hetty
