Darlinghurst, Taylor Square, fountain

This fountain is located in Taylor Square, on the corner of Oxford Street and Flinders Street, in the inner city suburb of Darlinghurst. It is located beside a pedestrian mall that was once part of Bourke Street, featuring traffic bollards look like giant screws. The stormwater from the paved areas of Taylor Square is collected via grates, treated and used in the fountain. The artwork on the former Commercial Bank building in the distance was supposed to be temporary but is popular and remains.

  1. Nice shot! More than the fountain I loved the colourful wall in the background...

    1. Siddhartha Joshi, the artwork on that building was originally supposed to be temporary but it has been loved and has remained there now for quite some time. I've added a mention and a link in the post.
