Circular Quay, ship, boats and ferries

This is peak cruise season and Circular Quay is very busy. The Carnival Spirit cruise ship is moored at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, while the Magistic Cruises boat and Captain Cook Cruises boat depart for harbour cruises from Circular Quay wharves. The Pam Burridge is a HarbourCat Class ferry arriving at the wharf while First Fleet ferries are seen on Sydney Harbour departing or waiting for a vacant spot at the wharves. This view is from the walkway beside the Cahill Expressway, above Circular Quay railway station, a bit further along from yesterday's photo.

  5. Wow. Lots of watercraft traffic happening there. The boats in the foreground have such interesting designs.

  6. Ocean going cruises are the very best way to travel - comfortable, leisurely, safe and fun. Even in harbour, the cruise ship looks majestic.
