Hyde Park Cafe
Hyde Park Cafe is located in the south western corner of Hyde Park, behind the main entrance of Museum Railway Station. The Downing Centre is the building behind it, diagonally across the Elizabeth Street and Liverpool Street intersection. This heritage building was originally known as 'The Piazza' and was the site of Mark Foy's department store, but now converted to a court complex containing local courts, state government courts and the District Court of New South Wales.

ReplyDeleteFor at least six months of every year I don't want to sit inside to have my espresso and sandwiches. Fresh air and sun shine are essential ... as Hyde Park Cafe has shown.

Charming little outdoor cafe. I remember climbing the many steps to the entrance to Mark Foys - in my younger days. But that activity only happened when I visited Mark Foys to view their stunning Christmas display.
