The Rocks, First Fleet Park

First Fleet Park is located between George Street and Circular Quay at The Rocks. This view towards the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Sydney Harbour Bridge is from the walkway beside the Cahill Expressway, above Circular Quay railway station. The park is near the site of the landing of the First Fleet in 1788, so has a strong historical association with the first European settlement in Australia and the subsequent development of the colony.

  7. Lots of history in that area Jim. A lovely composition with just a glimpse of The Bridge in the not too far distance.
