Erskineville, art

This urban artwork is located on the facade of a former warehouse along Rochford Street, in the inner city suburb of Erskineville. The building is home to Commune Studios, a co-working space for creative industry freelancers, small businesses and entrepreneurs. It is a collective of creatives from many fields - design, photography, film, journalism, public relations, events – all working under one roof. I photographed this mouth a few years ago when the lips were originally red, which can be seen here.

  2. Reminds me a bit of the Rolling Stones logo, although I think they have the tongue sticking out more!

  4. Excellent. If you are going to have co-working space for creative industry freelancers, it needs to be both cooperative and creative! The art is a great welcome.
