Botanic Gardens, sign

This "200" sign has been erected in preparation for the bicentenary of the Royal Botanic Gardens next year. The gardens were founded by Governor Lachlan Macquarie and opened to public in 1816.

    1. True true... but who realised that Sydney's Royal Botanic Gardens started that early? I imagine that Sydney in 1816 was a wild old place.
