This mural is on the side of a shop and residence located on the corner of Enmore Road and Phillip Street, in the inner west suburb of Enmore. It was created by graffiti artist Phibs who has created quite a few murals around the inner city suburbs. Alfalfa House is a not-for-profit organic food cooperative that provides minimally packaged and processed affordable organic food to its members and visitors to the shop.
It's a nice mural, the building could us fresh paint job though.

Mersad, they actually painted the first floor recently grey and the awnings maroon but for some reason chose not to paint right up to the top of the decorative section.
DeleteI do like the architecture.
ReplyDeleteNice mural!
ReplyDeleteGreat mural. Alfalfa House sounds very healthy Jim.
ReplyDeleteI like the mural, only I have the idea that the colors are a bit faded out. Pity.
ReplyDeletes.c., it looks a bit more faded with direct sunlight on it but I think the softer pastel colours are intentional.
DeleteI like this whimsical mural that makes the old building feel a lot friendlier.
ReplyDeleteI love the mural. Wish it was bigger so we could see more detail. Next time I go to Sydney I may have to find this one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a building!
ReplyDeletevery powerful.
ReplyDeleteHi Jim,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like bubbles. Thanks for sharing your blues.
I look forward to reading your comment on my blog.
Happy Blue Monday!
nice shop.
ReplyDeletePretty designs!
ReplyDeleteAdds a splash of color to the building and the area. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI recognised the style straight away Jim, there's quite a bit of Phibs around Perth also.
ReplyDeleteGraffiti artists all seem to have similar techniques. It is interesting. I cannot even imagine how they do their art with spray cans. This is a big one....very impressive and colorful.
ReplyDeleteInteresting building, but - sorry - I don't like the painting like this graffiti. It's modern, I know this but the painting is ugly in My mind...
ReplyDeleteErica, it's a huge improvement on the tags and graffiti the building had previously attracted.
