The North Wing of Sydney Hospital is located along Macquarie Street. This view is from the rear and includes the Robert Brough Memorial Fountain. This heritage listed building is part of a three building complex with a central administration block linked to north and south ward wings. They were designed by Thomas Rowe and John Kirkpatrick and constructed between 1884 and 1894 in the Victorian architectural style.
I am so happy you posted another picture of the hospital complex. This is such a gorgeous old piece of architecture. Beautiful. It looks to be swallowing up by the city around it.
