Newtown, hotel mural

“Housing Bubble” is a mural on the facade of a recently redeveloped building on the corner of Enmore Road and Station Street, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. This building was once home to Newtown RSL (Returned and Services League) Club and is now a boutique hotel. The mural was created by street artist Fintan Magee.

  1. Hello Jim,

I really like this blue mural. It looks like Norman Rockwell. I like your blue; thanks for sharing.

    Happy Blue Monday.

  2. Its a very cryptic message here and somebody have to carry all the load while a bubble on the real estate market is on the verge of exploding again. But very wel executed. I like it.

    1. You could be right. There has been a lot of talk lately about the bubble bursting in the Sydney property market.

  7. I'm with s.c. I'd just add that the soon to implode housing market has a very unstable foundation, given how the woman is balancing on the man's back. anyway you look at it, this is a very engaging mural. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
