  3. Woolloomooloo and now barangaroo...what interesting names. It seems like they both have a connection to the kangaroo. It has been years and years since I was on a paddle wheel tour boat. This one is especially nice.

    1. Both are Aboriginal names. Barangaroo was the wife of an Aboriginal leader Bennelong who lived in this area.

    P. (some of our friends and my daughter had seen Sydney...you see it every day, I will never come to Australia, for this time it is not planned. But who Knows, what lifetime will bring?! My best friend has a granddaughter in Christchurch since last April .... c´est la vie!
