Hyde Park, sign

This social media hashtag sign was installed along a fence at a promotion for the Sydney Rides Festival in Hyde Park yesterday. There were bikes for hire, food trucks in the park and bean bags to enjoy the surrounds and lunchtime sunshine as this tourist can be seen doing. The Sydney Rides Festival is an annual event that celebrates riding bicycles in the city.

    Now, this is a first...a hashtag attached to the beginning of a sign. That is pretty creative, and this sign is really an eye catcher. It definitely gets the point across and does what it is setting out to do....ADVERTISE.

    That's some way to advertise for sure. That sun bather looks quite tan...still to cold here to sunbather although it's fairly nice out today.
