Chippendale, Carlton & United Brewery, Vivid Sydney

These animated light projections on the facade of the heritage-listed former Carlton & United Brewery were displayed during the Vivid Sydney festival. This building is part of the Central Park redevelopment, in the inner city suburb of Chippendale. "X Factory" was created by Ample Projects, showcasing the dynamic factory as it once was, exploring technology, the changing workplace and the great shift from human labour to automated and intelligent machines.

  1. Spectacular colours. The Customs House design adds so much depth and character to the art of light.

    1. I apologise for labelling this post as Customs House when it is actually the Carlton & United Brewery. Corrected now. :)

  4. It's really great what they can do with colored lights. It really transforms the building and adds some color into the black of night. Thank you for linking in with "Through My Lens"!
