    1. Yes, it's quite hidden over spring and summer, William.

  3. I am always thrilled when the name of the home, in this case Hillsborough Terrace, is inscribed in the centrally located pediment. I cannot see if the date was also inscribed, but that too adds to the historical significance.

    1. I can't tell whether it's on there in this shot. I'll have to check next time I go to nearby Newtown.

  5. Victorian Filigree looks like it would be very much at home in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Have a blessed Ruby Tuesday.

  6. We have a Hillsborough in North Carolina. It's full of contrasts - everything from trailer parks to historic homes.

  7. Interesting style of home. The filgree fence railing is quite nice. Also liked the green colored fence in front of the building.

  8. Hi Jim — long time no see. I was away from my blog for quite some time, and I miss it and the friends I made online. I'm back, and I hope I'm back to stay. I always enjoyed your photos.

  9. Reminds me of a house you'd find in New Orleans. or maybe Savannah, Georgia. What a great name to tack to the house at well.
