Bexley, Masonic Lodge

The former Masonic Lodge is located along Forest Road, in the southern suburb of Bexley. It was built in 1923 and is used as a community hall these days.

  1. Interesting architecture, as can always be expected with these places. The only one of them I can think of here is way out in the west end.

    1. Tom, their lodges, temples and halls were quite prevalent around Sydney although they have been disappearing in recent years or are being repurposed now.

  9. I can think of at least one lodge/temple in downtown Toronto that has been a concert hall before it was bought by a media conglomerate. I must get a photo of it.

    1. Yes, Bill. I'm not a fan of the signs either. I think when you have too many, people would pay less attention.
