This view of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney skyline, across Sydney Harbour, is from north shore suburb of Kirribilli. The tall ship Southern Swan is making its way across the harbour.
I saw a tv programme that had nothing to do with Australia. But for a short time the cameras focused on the Sydney Opera House. That 20 second image was iconic enough for the viewer to connect _immediately_ with Australia!
Was here yesterday too, a few times because I wasn't able to leave a comment (hopefully due to weak internet connection, since it rained and snowed). Love this angle of the Opera House, and have not seen this straight-front-angle before. No matter from which side, every view I've seen reveals the stunning architecture! Thank you so much for sharing this with us, as well as "The Swan." Have a great week, Jim!
Oh what a great shot!!
ReplyDeleteA classic view!

ReplyDeleteIt just symbolises Sydney, I think.
DeleteGreat view! Arianna
ReplyDeleteWe are lucky to have a world acclaimed building in our country. We were so proud when our daughter worked there as a production manager.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I think it is one of the most beautiful harbors in the world.
