Barangaroo, International Towers

Tower One is one of three new skyscrapers known as International Towers, in the inner city suburb of Barangaroo. The three towers have been built in the block bounded by Barangaroo Avenue, Watermans Quay, Scotch Road and Exchange Place, with the walkways Shipwright Walk and Mercantile Walk between them. This is the view from Barangaroo Reserve but this won't last long since construction on another tower has begun in the foreground.

  1. Not sure about this design winning any awards, but may look better after the other towers go up. Great photo, greetings!

    1. Blogoratti, I agree it's not so attractive on this side but looks better from the foreshore beside the other two towers. I'll post a photo of that view tomorrow.

  2. We have similar building of new towers in the Brisbane CBD. The skyline is full of tower cranes. It's not a great sight but it is providing years of guaranteed work for my oldest son who is a rigger & crane operator, both constructing the tower cranes and at times operating them!
