Darlinghurst, art

This mural is painted on the side of a record shop along Goulburn Street, between Crown Street and Arnold Lane, in the inner city suburb of Darlinghurst. The wall of "Record Store" has featured a number of different murals over the years. This rainbow coloured mural with two hands forming a love heart has recently been installed as part of the Marriage Equality campaign which Australia is currently voting on.

  1. Love it. At first glance I thought it was a festy rooster. Then I noticed the hands. I've got to hand it to you - good job!

  5. The mural is a most interesting work regardless of it's message.

  6. Nice to learn about the marriage equality campaign. And that's a great mural for the message. The hands are beautifully done and the colours make them so attractive. Great find, Jim. :)
