Queen's Square, Hyde Park Barracks

'Living Colour' is a summer floral display around the city and inner city suburbs. This floral pyramid is located at Queen's Square, in front of the Hyde Park Barracks Museum. The spires of St Mary's Cathedral can be seen in the distance.

  1. I have crawled over every cm of the Hyde Park Barracks, and although life must have been bleak back then, the preserved architecture is very impressive. This floral pyramid softens the environment.

  3. Glad that the seasons are reversed 'down under' so we can continue to enjoy the benefits of colorful floral images.

  6. Very formal planting scheme, Jim, but suits the space it's in admirably.
