The Palm Grove Centre Garden Shop is located in the Royal Botanic Gardens. The Palm Grove was established near the Middle Garden in 1862 along with Australia's first zoo and aviary. This facilities building was converted in 2000 to house a cafe restaurant and a shop which sells Botanic Gardens merchandise such as gardening books, artworks and gifts. There are also seeds and 100% raw and unheated honey collected from their beehives.

It looks like it blends in well.
ReplyDeleteI hope the cafe makes nice food.
ReplyDeletePalm Grove is a popular name. There is one in Florida, and I believe, another in California. Seems like a good place to look for plants.
ReplyDeleteThis place doesn’t have any 'I'm too cool and busy for you' wait staff. As per me, it is nice, friendly, and helpful and they really seem to like their jobs there and that is important to me. We had an awesome experience here.
ReplyDelete...'sweet' spot.
ReplyDeleteBotanical gardens are always great places to visit!
ReplyDeleteThe Palm Grove might have originally been built near the Middle Garden in 1862 along with Australia's first zoo. But I didn't visit until _this_ century. A true pleasure.
ReplyDeleteYes, the zoo and aviary have long been gone from this site.
DeleteLooks like a nice relaxing place. Always nice to buy some good honey.
