Observatory Tower

Observatory Tower is located along Kent Street, in the inner city suburb of Millers Point. Overlooking Observatory Hill, the tower is home to 199 luxury apartments. It was originally built in 1964 as the IBM Centre, an office building with 21 storeys. In 1996 it was converted to apartments with 10 storeys added to the original steel structure.

  4. I cannot even imagine a building that tall, Jim. Remember, I'm in the woods and used to 100' tall trees...:)JP

  5. Nice shot - it would make me nervous living in a building that tall, or one that had been added to like that.

    1. Lady Fi, it has views to Sydney Harbour from this side of the building, which would be spectacular.
